Health and Safety

Your dog's health and safety is of utmost importance to us. In order to maintain as healthy an environment as possible we must require your dog to be vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper/Parvo and have had it's bordetella shot within the last six months. You will need to upload those documents in your profile from your vet. The Bordetella vaccination protects against kennel cough. However, much like the flu vaccine, your dog can still contract kennel cough (much like a cold) despite having the vaccination. That is the reason we require it to be updated every six months.

We take cleaning very seriously at DCDS. We clean every bowl after it is used, we clean inside and out at least twice a day and throughout the day are focused on specific chores to make sure every inch of our facility is clean. If you have any questions about our procedures, do not hesitate to ask.

Our vet Dr. Sherri Sommerville will visit DCDS at least once a month to provide vaccinations/exams.
